A visit to Budapest also made it to the winter top list.
Budapest is one of the best winter destinations
Budapest is beautiful in all seasons. It is also easily and inexpensively accessible by trains, buses, and planes. The Guardian has outlined a route plan in which you can travel from London via Brussels and Cologne to Vienna and Budapest. At each station, it is possible to see and walk around and learn about the local gastronomy. Starting in London with a few transfers, you can be in Budapest in a few days.
According to The Guardian, you must spend at least 3 days in Budapest.
The Hungarian capital is beautiful in all seasons and awaits tourists with many programs. This is also the case in winter. According to The Guardian, it takes 3 days to try as many foods and adventures as possible. In Budapest, you have to go to thermal baths, which feel even better in the winter cold. In addition, a walk in the Buda Castle is also a perfect winter program. For relaxation, you can recharge during an afternoon at one of the capital’s Christmas fairs. And the evening is best topped off in the party district, writes tavelo.hu.
The British daily also recommends visiting Munich after Budapest. The price of a trip to London was set at £749. This price also includes the hotel, the train ticket, and other expenses.

The Guardian (which I read everyday) runs that same article almost word for word every year, just as the DNH has a few stock articles that it also runs very year. In fact I would not be surprised if this article by the DNH is a re-run of one it published last year at around about the same time.
